It’s confirmed!! Behemoth blackened death metal band from Poland is performing live in Nepal as a headliner for Silence Fest IV 2013. This is the second polish band performing in Silence Festival. Vader, death metal band from Poland performed in Silence Festival II back in 2012. Bands from Nepal, India, and Poland will be playing in this year’s silence fest. Among the Nepali metal listeners Silence Fest is one of the biggest event of the year featuring international band in the home ground.
Behemoth is regarded as one of the legendary band in black metal genre. The band has sparked the controversy for their anti-christ theme in their song and act such are burning Bible.
And there is Zygnema four piece groove/thrash from Mumbai India. The band has played not only in India but has also played in international events such as Wacken Open Air 2012, Osna Metal Fest (Germany) etc.
T-shirts for Silence Fest 2013 will be made available in the venue itself for Rs 500. The tickets form the event will available in the venue itself. Interested can buy the ticket before event at Tone Store.
This is the first time Silence Fest is happening in Bhrikuti Mandap, previous three series of the event was held on Jawlakhel, Lalitpur.
