If you are a rock guitar aficionado then you probably know Freak Kitchen guitarist Mattias IA Eklundh. Besides FK, the Swedish freak guitarist is also involved with several other bands like Frozen Eyes, Fate, The Jonas Hellborg Trio and Art Metal.
Mattias was here in Ktm and on Oct 31, he conducted a wonderful guitar clinic at the Tones Music Store, Tangal in front of around 100 people, mostly members of bands and guitar players. In a clinic that lasted nearly two hours, he demonstrated his playing style, talked about his endorsements (he uses Laney Amp and Japanese Caparison guitars), explained his tapping skills and also informed about his Indian classical influences. He played several of his songs on backing tracks, all while cracking up the participants with his funny lines and incidents like how he was called “ek lund” or “one penis guy” while in India.
Towards the end, there was a brief Q/A session and then he gave autograph on his promo-posters and guitars to a queue of amazed participants of the clinic.
The clinic was organized by Tones Music Store, which is a part of Silence Entertainment.
