Abominable Carnivore is black/death metal band from Dhaka, Bangladesh. The band started in March 2011 by two musicians, Demodulated and Astaroth. Later the band was joined by Morax on Guitar, Xezbeth on Bass, Ohee on Drums, Astaroth also on Guitars and Demodulated on Vocals. The band draws inspiration from Behemoth, Belphegor, Black Horizons, Dawn, Dissection, Hate, Mayhem, Necrophobic, Sacramentum, Thulcandra, Unanimated, Vinterland, Watain and many more. Their music is mixture of black and death metal, accompanied by dark and evil lyrics.
The band signed a record contract with local record label “Dust and Guilt Records” and entered into studio in December, 2011. They released their debut EP “Light Devours Our Lust” on January 26, 2012. The EP contains seven tracks, including an Intro and an Outro, all displaying morbid and occult words spit out in darker, evil, extreme way. “Light Devours Our Lust” EP was later released by Viceral Vomit Records,Costa rica. The band will be doing local gigs from the beginning of year 2013.
ABOMINABLE CARNIVORE’s current line-up consists of Demodulated (Vocals), Astaroth (Guitars), Morax (Guitars), Necromancer (Bass) and Malphas (Drums).
