Broken Hymen is a four piece blackened / Death metal band from Kathmandu, Nepal. Broken Hymen sights Slayer, Cannibal Corpse, Opeth, Lamb Of God, SlipKnot,Pantera, Binaash, Ugra Karma,Behemoth, etc as their source of inspiration. The band recently participated in Nepfest – Band Competition and was ranked 6th among 26 bands.
Their recorded demo titled “Dimensions Of Obliteration” is a mixture of death and black metal. According to the front-man of the band Utsav, they are currently working on their EP album which band is planning to release withing this year. I’m not a metal critic to analyze a track part by part – for me their demo sounds tight and there is not much to bitch about. We are definitely looking toward band’s upcoming releases.
